No safety or emissions checks here just depends on if I can get it cheap enough and get all the quotes together and see how much it'd all be

It honestly just depends on the rust repair quotes if I'd get it or not. The dealers around here want $6-8,000 for extended cab 4x4 5.4 trucks with rust like this. Which is sad as heck. There's a Ford dealer around here that has a 2002 Supercab short bed FX4 ( XLT ) 5.4 with 100,000 something on it and the interior has stains all over the place the paint isn't really shiny and has rocker and bed rust on it and the front wheels are ruined from brake dust and not changing the pads so there's rust all over them and they wanted $9,000 for it at first now they want $6,000 for it. And I bet the manifolds are rusty and warped on it also. It needs tire's too.

Here's that truck. And yes that's rust bleed off on the running board from the door or the rocker. And yes that's like cigarette staining on the cruise control buttons.

That truck is toast. Been beat to hell and back. Would make a decent farm truck and that's about it. Go ahead drop 2,500$ on it. Make sure to watch the seller skip all the way to the bank.

Funny thing is he turned down $2,900 on it haha and heck not even that. It needs $850 in tire's to even be a farm truck.
