Help removing steering wheel cover to replace horn
Need to replace my horn switch,as some time ago, I put in a new emblem/logo, and apparently the tabs shorted or somehow messed up my horn... it goes off whenever it wants and shorts the fuse every time... Can anyone point me to an online resounce on how to get the cover off the steering wheel without a faceful of airbag? (I will replace the emblem/logo properly this time along with a new sensor, if I can get to it...) thanks all.

Yep, had the same problem. There is a shorted switch (looks like a 5" x 5" touch pad) mounted under the surface of the center of the steering wheel and in front of the airbag.
1. disconnect your battery to prevent accidental activation of air bag.
2. remove screws behind center of steering wheel
3. remove airbag; switch will be screwed to the airbag assemby.
4. replace the switch.
I have been unable to find the switch for sale by itself. However, you can purchase the entire center for $30-80 bucks on eBay. Also, the horn and cruise share the same fuse/breaker.
