Work done so far. Remove engine, buy used engine clean all gasket surfaces, new oil pump pickup, oil pressure sender, new oil pan, water pump, starter, heater core steel line, EGR pipe, injectors, fuel pump, fuel filter, air filter, replace all gaskets and crank seals except heads. New torque converter, converter seal, new transmission cooling lines. New exhaust manifolds, transmission filter and oil. Tail light, tail gate handle, body seals, blower resistor, right E brake cable, ABS sensor, front tag mount, headlight switch, bulbs all over, repair drivers seat belt unit.

Think I'm going FX silver for grill.

Working on vent controls. I have vacuum at the black line going in firewall, where does it go? I don't seem to have any vacuum at the back of the control.

Fixed mirror switch with a junk yard one.

Enjoying driving it. Don't use it as a daily driver but have about 2000 miles on it so far. No problems with any of the work or parts I've put on. AC is even still cold. Towing the boat this afternoon to take my boys fishing.

WOW almost a year. Glad I've forgotten how much work it took. Put about 7k on it part time. Took it hunting, boating, shooting, hauled loads of wood, deer, beer. Still would like to put some front suspension parts on. Only concern is it sounds like the rear is trying to engage posi on gently throttle turns? New project in garage is also a free vehicle. 2004 Mitsubishi Lancer for youngest son. EX is financing project for him I'm doing the work.

P.S. I did get to do donuts but it was in the snow.

Sounds like a shudder similar to clutch chatter. You can feel it.
