You might want to think about unplugging your battery for about an hour to allow it to reset the comp. Is there a knock or anything going on that you can hear out of the ordinary?

Nothing out of the ordinary. It has a bad exhaust leak on bank 1 (a couple broken exhaust manifold bolts) but other than that, sounds normal. I had to order new dpfe houses as napa didn't have any on hand. Should be here tomorrow.

What did the hole look like ? Cut , burned ?

It may just happen again with a new hose....until the problem is fixed anyway.

Yea, you have to distinguish between the two. It's important so be sure if possible.

Also you have the 51 and 31 dtc = a 32 explanation. 32 because it defines the problem best....just something to keep in mind troubleshooting. These particular DTC's may cause drivability issues.

If you have studs broken at rear pass side. That's due to the trans mount. They go bad shortly after 100,000 miles. They Y sinks and pulls to the left, - stresses the P side manifold connect. That's the main issue, other issue is Ford actually uses good studs, - stainless grade. But it doesn't help much because they use untreated steel nuts lol. Yea they rust and deteriorate and dig into the manifold studs.

It takes awhile but left unchecked, the driver side will eventually snap as well. All while the passenger side worsens. I mention all of this because the pass side needs to be fixed. Drivers side cat may be defective/partially plugged.

Also the EGR valve operation should be confirmed.

I just put the new dpfe hoses on after leaving battery disconnected overnight. It starts much better but still stumbles and dies if I don't keep my foot on the throttle.

I guess my question was too difficult.

Good Luck anyway.

Since that was plugged pretty badly I have to ask. You haven't happened to pull the upper intake and clean it out recently have you?

Yea, somethings not making sense. I've never seen those heavy silicon hoses just break or cut (straight line hole?). I'm not sure how it could unless it was physically cut by someone.

Either the blow off or melt a little. And that of course is due to either a partially plugged cat or from a fuel soaked converter that has ignited in the past. Other than that, you got me lol.
