My reverse lights are one wire.
I did wire them up but the button stopped working lol. I ust cut the button off and used my old one though, not a big deal. I did however forget my purpose in doing that. I wanted to not only make the wire mess look a little bit better, but also make my light bar come on separate from the KC's. When it's cold and later at night, I don't think the best and wired them all together lol.
I think later on I'll buy a littler bit better quality wiring harness for the light bar, KC's, and reverse lights.

Easy, the black wire gets connected to a bolt, then the red wire goes to the switch, the switch should have another power and ground, run the other power to the battery, and the ground to a random bolt.

What is stated above is correct. But let me alliterate. The bolts for ground should be bolted to metal. Not plastic or fiberglass. Also there might not be a ground coming off switch. Only if the switch has an led indicator on it then it will have its own ground.
