Help! Battery Light Still on After Replacing Alternator

lol, you said the alternator was putting out. Yea fuses are the first thing you should check. That inline mini , the connector itself has shorting problems. The 175's have fracturing problems at the copper ball, if the least bit bent.
I guess I assumed you checked the fuses. I mean they're right there lol.

Yeah, this was the first time I have worked on my car. I was kicking myself after I found the broken fuses though. Should have checked that first.

Did you try checking the alternator voltage directly on its terminal instead of the one connected to the battery? Try cleaning your body ground wire using a sand paper or wire brush.
Most Alternator failure is caused by too much wire & terminal resistance or your alternator is too small to supply addional electronic device (amplifier etc.).
