Default No Headlights Only High Beam Flash?

I Have A 97 F150 4x4 Extended Cab. If I Turn My Lights On The Driving Lights Come On But No Headlights. If I Switch To My High Beams I Get Nothing Either. However If I Use My Turn Signal Switch And Flash My High Beams I Get My High Beam Lights. Im Thinking Its The Switch But I Just Wana See If Anyone Else Has Had The Same Problem Or Any Input. I Really Appreciate It.

Welcome to the site. To save a trip to the parts store and throwing money on the counter, you might consider checking all fuses with a test light. Am not sure if the same fuse for normal headlights is the same as for the flash to pass circuit. Just a thought.

It's your Multifunction Switch most likely. I had the same problem with mine for a long while. It's not a cheap part, cost me $240, but I have headlights! It's only 4-6 screws and a harness holding it in...it's pretty easy to fix...takes about 10 mins. Good luck! Incase you're unsure what the multifunction switch is...it's the signal light arm.
