Don't know what to tell ya. All I know is the 03 Heritage Edition came factory equipped with headlights that look very much like the 03 Harley Davidson Edition and Lightning Edition trucks, having similar design/bulb/light output and the same type of lens material. Much like the crystal clear headlight lenses on every 11th generation and newer Ford F-150 truck. Don't spend hours maintaining the looks of the truck and honestly barely any time at all. Got a nice big two car garage attached to my house, but the truck stays outside in the driveway 365 days a year where it belongs. Whether rain, sleet, snow, hail, or shine it doesn't really matter to me. It's long been paid-off and is a daily driver, not a car show queen. Wash the truck once a month and the whole thing gets waxed twice a year, using a high quality synthetic car wax in the spring and fall. That's the only times the headlight lenses are cleaned and protected with a coat of wax. Never had to use plastic polish/restorer, toothpaste, sand paper and so on to remove yellowing, and other then a bit of slight pitting from blowing sand or following vehicles that kicked up bits of sand, the headlights still look nearly new and remain crystal clear, without the slightest tint of yellow yet and soon will be 14 years old. Guess I just got lucky. Entire truck remains looking pretty good and good enough to get an occasional compliment. May be you just need to get rid of some birds in your area so they won't sh*t big yellow turds on your headlights. I was having a problem this past summer with birds sh*****g all over my truck while it was parked in the driveway, but took care of that minor nuisance rather quickly.

I replaced mine (2002 F-150) for $60 on Amazon. Factory headlights and turn signals with HID bulbs. I added amber LED signal bulbs and resistors (to prevent hyper flash) for that "subtle yet different" look.
Very simple to replace.
There is also a 4mm tool made by Lisle tools for around $10 (I think) that makes adjusting them just as easy and fits any Ford headlight bucket adjusting screw.
I tried going with a one piece unit with LED daytime lights but it just wouldn't fit correctly. Too big for the opening.

You would be surprised at the bargains you can find at Amazon! You can change your search vehicle parameters to get the exact parts. Often the price is the same or slightly lower than going directly to the supplier and sometimes the supplier is a couple bucks less too.
Didn't know if you had checked here yet.
Hope this helps remedy your yellow headlight issue.

Now an XLT in Colorado
Whatever you end up doing, PLEASE don't put aftermarket HID's in a housing designed for halogens.
