Default Halo Projectors v.s. HID Lights?

Ok so finishin my list of things for the truck that i haven't acquired yet but still plan on are new headlights. Because to be just straight up, my stock ones suck. So my question is since i know alot of yall got either projectors or HIDs can anyone give me the good/bad and which ones better. I already have looked the prices and don't mind paying the extra to get projectors if they're better. They definately look better, to me atleast. So any and all advice will be appreciated, thanks
