Ok, sorry to dampen on the really good sounding Joes Crab Shack conversation, but i think our exhausts are run different, my O2 sensors are the same, but in a different place. Yours don't appear to be where mine are i don't think, or else i'm just soo out of it haha, but i tried to take a pic but it was hard juggling my camera, girlfriend asking why the heck i gotta take a picture of a pipe and not burning myself cuz i JUST hopped out of it, but you got the heat shield, and then the cat, and its screwed right into the cat it looks like. It does however look like the cat is 2 pieces, a top and a bottom, i dunno if....i can take off the bottom, run the pipe through there...??? I'll try for a picture later on

Mine is also located in the middle of the rear 2 cats. I would like to do mine like auburn is by taking rear cat apart by opening it up (it has tabs folded over to keep it together) emptying all the honey comb shizzle out and putting a pipe in its place so it looks stock, but I don't think the cat will come apart like that, its probably rusted shut.

I'm at a loss though because I don't have a welder...

Will taking out the 2 rear cats make my 4.6L fail the "sniff" test for emissions?
