Default Good radiator brands?

Could anyone give me some feedback on some radiator brands. I recently just redid the entire cooling system on my 97 f150 and I put a Spectra radiator in it and it leaked before I even got to drive it around the block. It also did not fit well at all. I did get my money back from Autozone. I was just wondering if someone else had good experiences with a certain brand other than Ford. I can't afford to buy a radiator from ford for 500 dollars. Any input would greatly appreciated thanks- Zach

Junk yard. OEM is the way to go when it comes to radiators, unless you like replacing them.

Well I was hoping someone else has had good experiences with other brands of radiators. I really don't wanna spend 500 bucks on a radiator . I know oem is best but its just too much right now.

They are not 500. I will go pull one and pay for shipping to you for half that. You wanted to know, I'm telling you. Sorry if its not what you wanted to hear. Aftermarket are not as good as OEM when it comes to radiators. Not something you want to cheap out on considering their roll in keeping your engine from overheating.

Actually from the ford dealer they are 541 bucks. I was just there. And I'm not going to put a used radiator in my truck. Thank you for your response I don't really care for your sarcasm though I'm not trying to start anything just looking for some feedback from other people.

I never said get one from Ford. I said junk yard. But OK. OEMs last a looking time, you won't get that from aftermarket. Replace after markets wayyyy more than OEM. I am telling you from experience.

Good luck.
