I put a thrush on my 08 4.6 when I first got my truck! It sounded great and I had it running out the side, I have since upgraded to a manga flow but I had no problems and great sound with the thrush... Here's a vid too right after I installed it, about 4 years ago. LoL

I was also thinking of Cherry Bomb extremes i dont wanna spend a hole lot on the exhaust. I know flow masters are really good but a little out my price range right now.
Do you have the 5.4l?

We don't have loud exhaust tickets in our parts, just improper equipment. My 4.6 was loud as hell with high flow cats and glasspacks. Something to think about..

Plus it won't be that loud with the cats still on anyways.

Don't do stacks unless it's a diesel. And still even with a diesel it looks dumb most of the time. And you should look into a magnaflow muffler. It has a really nice tone and sounds the best on these trucks. And you don't need to worry about back pressure, the cats will take care of that.

I got a magnaflow magnapack which is magnaflows version of a glasspackthe rest is stock except for the tailpipes but it's loud but not to loud. It's more rumble than pop like what you would get with cherry bombs.

not to break your heart, but super 10's, and all that loud stuff isn't really loud in a ford, so unless you plan on dropping your cats(reason for quietness)all your really gonna do is change how it sounds and mildly change noise factor. on the other hand, of you have no cats, the super 10 will be loud lol. I used to have a dodge with a super 40 and 1 cat and it was pretty dam loud like hold the conversation tell your at the destination loud, but im in texas so all the 5-0 could do is look lol

My super 10s ain't obnoxious loud but it is a lot loaded than stock and has a great note to it. I'm wanting to put high flow cats and headers also.
