I would have to see pics to believe it, then again they could have be changed. I been around F-150s, working in F-150s and F-150 forums for over 14years and have never seen or heard of a 9.75" 4.6 or 8.8" 5.4L

If it is true I would say it would have to be a 97-98 truck because I have personally owned 7, 99-03 f150s, one being a 1999 4.6 8.8 And the rest all 5.4s with 9.75s

Ok here's my trucks door jam sticker

2000 f150 with the 5.4 3.55 gears 8.8 rear (I'm guessing that's what R 8 means) and it's 4wd

Well I feel stupid ...I just llfond out that R is the radio code. oops haha let me go count the rear bolts

Ok yeah I was wrong I just counted the diff bolts and he has an 8.8 and I have a 9.75. Haha sorry for the false alarm!

Haha I know what it looks like, just not as well as under the hood. I thought I had a 9.75 but the door sticker confused me.
