Default Fuse Box Problem

I have a 2000 F150 4X4. Bought it new. I have just started experiencing a problem with the fuse box. Yesterday the radio and wipers just stop working while I was driving. I replaced the fuses even though the old ones where still good. This morning I had the same thing happen. I pushed slightly on the fuses and everything started working again. The fuses are tight. Could this be a fuse box going out. Anyone ever experience this.

Thanks

Attached to the back of the Central Junction box is the GEM. Generic Electronic Module.
The Wipers are controlled by the GEM. Water intrusion and subsequent leaking onto the GEM can cause the symptoms you describe. A faulty multi-function switch can also be the cause. Pushing on the fuses leads me to suspect a faulty connection at the GEM. Remove the GEM and inspect the connections.

Is the GEM under the hood or under the dash? Thanks again.

I think I might be having almost the same problem. All of the fuses look ok, but the problem I'm having is with the cruise control. A while back the cigarette lighter blew a fuse, and since then the cruise has not been working. I plan on looking into the GEM thing as soon as I get a chance, but while I'm here I figured I would ask if anyone has had a this problem or anyting like it, and what should I do?
