Default Front Shock (2000 F150)

Does this plastic cable holder push onto the bolt, or is it threaded?

Before I break another miscellaneous plastic auto piece...

It is just pushed on. Doesn't usley come off that easy though.

That 's cool, haven't seen that one yet. Looks like it could prevent a little corrosion. Mark where the nut is somehow (measure from the top down) and loosen it if you can. Looks like the best way to remove it without carnage.

Maybe some WD40 would assist.

What cable is that? Why not remove the cable from the other end first?

ABS cable- DND. The plastic unclips at the bottom on the cable side portion of clip, cable slides out. The whole plastic piece does "thread fit" of sorts to shock bolt. Easy job.

I do notice non-standard F150 stuff on my 4.6L 5-spd...
