Time for Ball Joints
So I am replacing my ball joints and I am trying to do this so later down the road I can just replace my upper ball joint and not the whole upper control arm. I found these replacments. Any reviews? Seems kind of cheap? Any help is great.

+1 for rockauto.com!
as expensive as they are, i would go with the MOOG or Motorcraft control arms. I dont trust MEVO TECH or Raybestos or any of that crap. I use moog for my steering and supension parts, cant beat them. I say you use them because i see you have some suspension mods, and the heavier duty parts would hold up MUCH better.

Me personally, I believe that you get what you pay for. No need to buy the most expensive part,but buy quality.
Although the upper is an easy one to change if it only lasts a year. I wouldn't consider it for the bottom though.

I agree 100% on buying better qaulity products. Im not really worried about saving money at all. I really use this truck so I am willing to buy strong parts. I would fabricate these arms to, but I just dont have the time. The reason I liked the ones I found is because I can just replace the ball joint and not the entire arm next time, but maybe all the aftermarket ones are like that.

Not all of the aftermarket ones are replaceable.
One thing to consider if you go with replaceable ones. The control arm may only fit their brand ball joints.
You may not be able to pop a Moog joint into an El-Cheapo control arm.

I just put upper and lowers on mine, including upper control arm. Went with all Moog from rockauto. Glad I did. Side note, the moogs come with grease fittings....therefore they will last longer if you keep them greased

I would go with Moog, and buy everything from rockauto...you just can't beat their prices 
As for the job, an impact wrench, a few friends, and some cold ones will make the job a whole lot easier.
Oh, and don't forget the ball joint press kit that you can rent for free from autozone

HAHA ya nice one on the beers, they might help. Ya the work I am not really worried about. I installed the lift kit without any type of help or anything; along with all the other mods. LOL. Hey AZFX4; I am still waiting for the time. I started a new job here a little while ago and have not even been able to do anything to my truck yet. They are keepin me super busy. I am starting to mark it up though and going to get to it soon hopefully. I will definately post up the second I do something though.
