Frame restoration
I took my bed off my 2003 f150 a few weekends ago and sanded it all down and painted the frame with 395A metal preserver paint. Here's some pictures.

I had about 16 hours in it. It was a pretty fun weekend project. I enjoyed doing it. I was told that rhino lining traps rust in-between causing more of a problem than a cure. But if your truck isn't rusty like mine is here in north east Ohio, it's a whole different story!

I plan on doing this to my truck frame sometime next year when I get some time. I was thinking POR-15 or Rust Bullet and some type of flat black rattle can over it. What was the difficulty level?

The only difficult thing I ran into was trying to pressure wash all the oil off. I had been oil spraying my truck in the years past and I decided I would rather just paint it and be done. So the hardest by far was getting all the oil off! Por15 is the same thing as 395a that I used. 395a is cheaper and only sold by Napa.

That looks real good. I use a wire cup on my grinder to remove most of the rust. Then I use Rust Converter from rustoleum or a similar product from loctite. I then topcoat with a rattle can. I have pretty good results. Does anybody have a link to Por-15 or 395a? I am not familiar with those products.
