Clean the blower, lower intake and stuff really well.. Strip the rotors and put a oil separator on.. Boost by pass doesn't really do anything. I'd delete the EGR while ur pitting stuff back together.. U putting the PCV stuff on? U could fill silencer holes as well..

Already got them in. Have about 700 miles on them. I have 35s so its takes some strain off the tranny and yeah I'm at about 1900rpm at 60. 2200 at 70.

I deleted the egr already, I dont have time to strip the rotors yet, maybe later down the road...I would love to fill the holes as well for the sound but that will have to wait as well..Thanks for the advice

And as far as the boost bypass, I didnt really know so I bought one anyway, no biggie..

Last year, I ran the Illinois here in Peoria, but I am going back to Clinton Lake. I did my own winterizing and I had solid mud and plastic in my water passages on the sides of the blocks! had to dig it out mainly because the river was so low last year.

Yeah, I burnt up a water pump, right at the begging of last year. Because of mud. Had to do the same thing flush and take everything apart and scrape it out.

I live in Illinois right on the Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky line... Run on the Ohio river, usually. And some in Rend Lake.

Sweet boat for sure! I'm addicted to the outboards though lol... I wanna find a toy set up for a GM engine though... Around 20ft

So, I have some stupid questions for everyone because I honestly don't have time to search this site for answers, I dont get hours for this project, I get minutes...so anyway I was going to bolt on my boost bypass and I noticed that the black lever was touching the screw throught the base, where should this be set? And should it be plunging up while stationary?
Sorry for not knowing the "lingo".
