i raced my buddys 5.3 silverado and it was close and i had my 24" rims on.. he beat me with his bumper out .. i think id wreck him without my rims on

Ive never lost a race against other trucks. In my 04 5.4. Chevys arent that fast at all. And dont get me started on dodge 1500 5.7 hemi's they are slowest thing there is stock.

Me and my freind pulled the same trailer down the same roads on two different hunting trips. His 5.3 was really and i mean REALLY struggling to pull that trailer and it was a really crappy ride (trailer making the truck bob on bumps) we went the next weekend and that drive made him wish he had a ford. Even with 33s and 3.55s it kicked that chevys ace pullin that trailer. Now with the 4.10s i can hit overpasses at 65 with a heavier trailer and it wont downshift. The chevy will whip me on a drag race, but id rather have my ford and so would he lmao!
And that is a 5.3 with 265 vs a 4.6 with 285

Go on youtube and find a video thats called cammed 6.0. Probably the fastest 0-120 ive ever seen. Sorry but that 6.0 is fast.

i think there is some over exaggerating on the fords out doing chevy and dodge that bad!!! i love ford but they aren't like way faster like some are saying, if two raced stock its always gonna be close and its all gonna depend on who's truck can handle the beating

Yeah i just BLEW out a brand new dodge 1500 5.7 the other day lol, he got me for about 25 feet off the line and I was gone, on a track of course

The new hemi is fast.... just saying. the six speed auto is slower than the 5 speed auto. With the five speed auto 1-2 gear was insane. The shift into second land right on the max torque. Ive seen it smoke a 96 impala ss.

If yours isnt the Heritage Im not so sure about that. Is its stock? Mine was able to get a car length and a little bit on a 2006 5.4 by 70 mph.

I thought I would chime in my 03 5.4 vs my uncles 04 5.3. My truck one. Against his 11 5.3 with 6 speed I lost. And I'm not biased ford or Chevy but I just bought a Denali with the 6.2 and blows the doors off my 03. And. I've also raced a new hemi and a tundra. The Denali haven't lost yet. I still love my f-150 but not nearly as fast as the Denali

the newer chevys are definitely fast my 09 chevy avalanche 5.3 will blow my f150 away
