Default Fog lights and Parking lights together :D

So I was searching last night on a way to bypass that stupid mechanism in our headlight **** for the foglights. As some of you know, your foglights could only be ran with headlights on low beam. On high beam they would turn off and with the parking lights they would turn off. Well thanks to some google searching and f150net I found this link.

http://www.svtlightnings.com/svt/how...s/foglamps.htm

It's very easy to do. I chose to have my foglights on with all settings. IE Parking lights, lowbeam and high beam by splicing #5 (yellow) and #12 (Brown)
Pics are of Parking lights and Fogs and High beams and fogs! Enjoy!!

So for us Canadians here. What are we splicing and cutting? There's like three different wires there talking about. I just want the fogs to come on when ever I pull the switch out. So that the number 2 and 12 wires right? Just making sure before i start splicing stuff together.

When you pull the switch out? Are you talking about whenever you have your parking lights on or headlights? And is your netup different than the one I have?

Glad you found it helpful! It only takes about 5 minutes too! I'm hoping Bucko will make this a sticky cause I know a lot of users would like to do this mod.

Yes same set up as you. But when you say you choose to have your fog on with all of your lights. Do you mean you can choose to have them on or do they just cone on when you turn you regular lights on?

Although I love the mod, it is illegal to have your fog lights on with high beams in most states...

And in all states any customization that defers from factory performance or visual appearance is also illegal. But unless the cop just doesnt like you, he won't say anything. I assume this the same

They just come on once the lights are on. There is a way to choose to have them on or off but that involves splicing different wires AND trimming inside of the switch harness.
