Has anyone ever put the Dodge towing mirrors on a F150? I know there would be some custom work involved. The Dodge mirrors just appeal to my taste more than the SD or Chevy tow mirrors.

i know someone else looked into this, the mounting plates are really similar. custom fabrication is definitely required. it's a common mod on gm trucks, might be helpful to search that.

Not afraid of custom bracket fab, that's what ag mechanics in high school was for. The big question is, do I need the mirrors from a 96-01 body, or a 02-09 body? My father has an 06 and his look like the trim might need some trimming if I tried.

With some base measurements of course. But that has to wait until I get back to where I parked the truck so I can measure.
