Default Best high flow air filter

Are there any other, or better options than the k&n drop in replacement filter for our trucks? I did the gotts mod and now I need to replace the paper choker.

AFE Pro Dry. Probably filters better than a K&N

I used a spectre from autozone and could tell a difference in performance over stock filter. Its almost half the price of k&n too

Fixed for you K&N's range from 96 to 99% filtration efficiency. The Pro dry is consistently +99%. I'd also add the Amsoil nano fiber, Airaid synthamax, and AEM dry to the list of +99 dry filters. The paper filter really isn't as restrictive as many like to think. You'll get 4-10 inches of H20 restriction on a regular paper filter in these trucks, with a "high flow" filter you'll still have around 4-8 inches of restriction. There can be a slight throttle response increase which makes it feel like there is more, but on the dyno the numbers are small with a drop in.
