F150 heater core cheap fix
OK...How's about this.. Instead of going through 800-1000 bucks to replace the heater core, in the F150 how about replumbing the hoses to bypass the core and use an electric heater (maybe two) strategically located to get heat.??? Why not???

they dont cost much just do the work yourself I did a bypass and I have no problem (i live in FL)

is your heater core leaking? go to a drug store and ask the pill pusher in the white coat for some water glass dump this stuff in your rad and take the truck for a drive this stuff will seal up heater core leaks water pump leaks and every other thing that can leak in the coolant system its about 6 bucks a bottle but best stuff i have ever used and have been using it for years

Most auto parts store carry a brass hose coupler kit you can use to bypass the heater core, thats what I did when mine went
