F150 Expedition Brake swap 2016
Guess I'm going to give it a shot. Before I do, - anything to look for ? Anybody currently using ?
Truck has 17" factory rims, so I think I'm good.
Not many threads on this topic. Just one with details, here, -

I'm also replacing hoses with short braided. The use just a short hose braid and it looks like Dorman has some nice lines @ Rock.
I'm still looking at pads, not sure if I want the kit yet. Looking for better pads than the kit offers.
So help me out....please.
Thanx fella's

A friend of mine that I am an admin with on allfordrangers did his F150. He told me that the main thing you're going to want to get off of a junker is the caliper brackets and bolts (pretty much everyhing else you can get @ Rock Auto). If you have any specific questions, I can get ahold of him petty easy. I agree on the EBC pads - if you want to throw in a little extra coin, their greenstuff pads rock.
BTW, my Expy has 16 inch rims on it, so your 17's will work great.

The only complaint about my Expy Swap is when I brake hard it sounds like a grinding or stuttering happens ever so lightly just as the truck's about to come to a stop but I think that could be from my ceramic pads.
I feel a difference in stopping power but my lines and rotors were pretty bad leading up to the swap.
Opt for stainless braided lines and get them on amazon by stop-tec. Don't pay $$$ for simple lines.
quick summary of thoughts post after I did the install.

Wolvee, did you replace your master cylinder with the dual diaphragm Expy unit?

I'll just say that between my Expedition and F150, the stopping power is much better with the Expedition. I don't think all of that can be attributed to just the larger rotors/calipers/pads. I am going to swap it out as well when I do the switcharoo.

Actually, the only models that don't have dual diaphragms are 97 and 98. The rest of the gen tens have them. They went dual diaphragm in 99 with the rear disc set ups.

I'm about 99% sure the super crew uses the expy brakes already
