Default exhaust questions

what are the best upgrades that you can do to the exhaust system to improve both the performance and the noise. I'm starting to get mad because it seems like every truck i pass while driving sounds better than mine and i don't really want to take a saw to the pipes.

For gains, you need long tube headers.

For noise, see this thread: http://www.f150forum.com/f6/exhaust-...ibrary-200002/
