It's what we used any time we run into rusted bolts on any of the bolts we came across when I worked for a Acura. Cheap and it works. Don't ask me why. I don't know why. I'm just saying it worked better than any of the pb blaster and similar stuff we tried.

No, one dealer quoted $1500.00 unless they had trouble, and you know how that goes, and another dealer quoted $4000.00 really

don't go to a dealer. I have a leak on my passenger side manifold on my truck and I called a local chain muffler shop, and they quoted me at $400 unless there's trouble, and up to $500 if they have trouble with the studs, which they expect to do. that's replacing the manifold and expecting broken studs. I can see no way fixing a broken stud would reasonably run $4,000 unless the new stud has a new engine attached to it.

The stud its self broke about 3/4" in, any tips on how to extract it?
3/4"? my studs didn't go in much further than that. Must just be a small piece left in there.
