Yea, I use brake cleaner that way, by the case... It's cheap, minus the brain damage.

I wasn't really commenting on your abilities, of which I have no knowledge. I was basically looking at the original pics you posted. They were SCARY looking to say the least.
Again...great job...attention to detail...etc...
I wish I had the time, knowledge, and tools with workspace to tackle something like that.

So I ordered new front and rear calipers/pads from Rockauto.
Then took them apart to coat them with Duplicolor caliper paint.
The Duplicolor kit I bought came with cleaner, a brush and a can of paint. Here's a pic after the second coat. I've used this stuff before and 5 coats is needed to make the finish last.... one car I've done this to has held up for 16 years.
New rotors with the finished calipers and hoses connected with fresh banjo washers and hardware.
In the front, I cleaned and painted the plastic wheel well liners, got them installed along with new brake hoses, calipers and rotors.... decided to paint the caliper brackets black to contrast with the red calipers.
Lets not forget a new booster (painted gloss black) and new master cylinder (painted gray). Got all the brake lines hooked up with new fittings, filled/bled and checked for leaks.... all was right with a nice, firm pedal feel.

Plain out old ---- WOW!!!!
I love this! Amen to what others said. This is the kind of new truck I'd like! And, take away carpet, power windows, radio, all the fancy stuff so I could just have a solid strong truck foundation.
Eating popcorn, waiting on more. We want more, it's good so we want more!
