OK, so just recently my 03 f150 sport 2x4 V6 has had a funny problem. While driving, suddenly it will go right to idle rpm and I will have no response in the gas pedal, until I let off and re-apply, and that only works sometimes. I replaced the fuel filter hoping that might have been the issue, and it worked fine for that day, I took it out for about a half hour and multiple stops and starts, but now its acting up again. There are no codes and no check engine light. I was thinking maybe throttle position sensor, but wouldn't that throw a code? or maybe the 02 sensors, but again what about a code?
some days it seems worse than others, today it drove about 20 feet and completely died, then upon startup it idled really rough and the gas pedal did almost nothing but make it jump around a bit. Then after it sat for about 2 minutes it fired right up like normal. Any input is appreciated!!!!
