Honestly you won't gain 50, 60, 70 or 80 without slapping in a blower.

EFans don't make power but do help free up power from reducing the amount of rotating mass on the engine.

Tune will help

Intake and Exhaust is minimal also.

You MIGHT gain 20RWHP with all four mods to be completely honest.

That's just my 2 pennys.

Would a head job, mild cams, and a custom tune net enough make it worth while? I figure you might be able to shine a little light on the subject.

Head job - roughly $400
Cams - $600+

Lol well that doesnt sound too bad to me. What head job and cams would compliment each other? Just a 3 way valve job and some twisted wedge cams?

If you had non PI heads, you could do a head swap and gain 50hp easily.

When you are looking for budget horspower, think combustion chamber size and ratio.

The sad thing is that no matter how much we've spent & what we've done, the project is never complete. ESPECIALLY, after reading in on everything ibd2328 has going on. Its friggin contagious!! LOL

I'm going to have well over 10k in this project. But it's tranny, frame, and engine. All built.

i would just like to get myself to like 280 to 300 reliable hp and a bump in torque. obviously a blower would be bad ***, or a twin turbo build. but minimum 5 grand i would guess for a good blower set up and even more for turbo's. and a 5.4 swap would be nice, but my 4.6 is super low milage for the year and would hate to trade that in for a higher milage 5.4. plus i have no shop capable of coin the swap in so that means paying someone to do it. maybe my 1500 dollar budget is just too low to get the gains i want thanks for all the input though

300hp at the wheels? I doubt you are seeing 210 at the crank right now with age. Power is expensive. A small 8psi blower would be the way to go if affordable.
