I live right on the Illinois/Indiana/Kentucky line. About 10 mins from Indiana,15 to kentucky lol

And a couple questions.

How beneficial would a CAI be on a L-swap? I wouldn't waste it on a stock 2v but I know they benefit turbo'd setups quite a bit so I'm assuming they'd help a blower.
I can get a Volant CAI for $150 ($270 new)

Also my drivers side manifold is about shot so looking at LT's now which will require a re-ran system. What's your opinion on the OBX LT setup with resonators, y'ed into a single 3" back with a Borla XR-1?

Do you have a Ford dealer near you? I formerly worked for a company that provides inventory control and wholesale transfers for dealers. I worked the state of IL. Knew a couple dealers that spent more time in the field playing with tractors than selling cars.

Yeah a couple different dealers. Jim Hayes Ford and White county ford.... Not big ford dealers, lol.... Its farm land around here.

Edit: deleting cats also?

I'll leave the CAI question to the boosted guys, but I believe it would be beneficial to air density as long as its truly drawing cool air. As far as the exhaust, you'd better run LT's with the charger. Thats alot of air moving. What you listed sounds good to me. You deleting o2's? Get emissions tested?

Don't remember those guys. Did have a guy named Don Kuhle of Kuhle Ford somewhere in Southern Il. Straight country down there. Loved dealing with those guys.

Yeah, Thats a good distance away.In Assumption Illinois.... That is actually the area where i got that blazer i'm building.

Intake.

Not a waste on any 2 valve. - As long as you improve both ends, ~ Intake AND Exhaust.

Personal pref on headers for some, - but OBX are all Flash IMO. If that's what you like, get the MOST beneficial OBX'S for engine flow AND MAKE ABSOLUTELY SURE you size the collectors +system accordingly.

Personally, I'd run the Longer Pacesetter headers or Kooks (Modified/cut/turned) with 350 hp plus.

The 3" Single in/Single out Borla XR series is PERFECT!
