That's not bad at all. You have custom grinds and Fox Lake heads right? So that's like 440 crank correct, or an I just confused? Lol What's your static and dynamic CRs? I'm actually debating tfs heads, they are just pricey. Are hypruetectic pistons going to be OK since I'm gonna keep it NA? Sorry for all the questions.

Custom grindsoftware and stage 2 Fox lake heads. When I built my setup long ago TFS were still in prototyping. My static is is 11.2:1. I know when the engine was fresher cylinder pressures was around 230psI. Now with some age she is in the 180 range. But he'll it has 150k on it. Yes it's close to 420ish crank hp.

That's some impressive power. I figured it would take a lot to get that out of an NA build. Tfs heads are pretty expensive so I may just go with ported PIs if I build, I'm not sure yet tho. Were you able to tune it to run on 89 or is it premium only?

Good news, I'm thinking it a bad PCV valve. I cleaned the TB when I did the intake manifold 30k miles ago and this is what it looks like now. Also inside the intake is covered in this ****. I'm not gonna have time to pull the intake for a while tho unfortunately. Maybe next week

Catch cans are cheaper than I thought. Should I not get one this cheap? I don't want it to do more harm than good

So did you dip the lower intake, - how much oil was in it ? That's how I would determine whether a can was needed. Once the TB elbow is removed, you can dip/check the blow by in the intake. In case you didn't understand my other reply.

OH! Is there a screen on the lower ?

Yep I checked it with a paint stirring stick. There wasn't much oil in the bottom at all maybe a half a millimeter deep. But, I did pull the PVC tube while I had the TB elbow off and oil pretty much poured out of it. Since the catch cans are only $15 I'll probably just throw one on there, unless those cans are complete **** and will do more harm than good.

Do you mean a screen on the lower intake? I don't believe so. I have a Dorman intake manifold and I think it's one piece.
