I order it off eBay. I got a ev-238 I think that's the right number. It was like 12 bucks. I can't find a MC one locally either.

Maybe my truck just wants to be a two stroke lol

Yes

Do you know what you have in there now?

Make sure the PCV line is clear when you install it. Don't have to pull it off the back of the engine. Just wrap your lips around it and blow. The tube should be clear unobstructed.

If you try to pull it off the back of the engine you can rip it, screw it up...that's why you shouldn't attempt that lol.

Not sure what brand I pulled out. I posted pics of it a few post up. I'll have a new car Quest valve in there until my MC shows up. I'll make sure the tube is clear when I mess with it tommorow

Might as well do all you can to keep a little more oil in that engine ehh.

It can help a lot or a little. I was just reading that a guy was going through a quart evey 1000 miles. Switched back to motorcraft valve and iot went down to 1/2 quart every 1000. Those posts have been pretty common over the years.

If I could cut my oil usage in half I would be a very happy camper. If there is a bunch of oil in the intake when I pull it I may just install a catch can and not worry about it anymore

I want one of the catch cans that has the drain in the bottom so you can run a line from the drain back into the engine

lol, I mentioned that a few posts back. Well, something like it anyway. I knew a guy that did that with his inline 6. I think he was using a big soup can though. Had so much blow -by, routed his PVC to the can , when the can got close to full, he would dump it back in. He had some sort of lid on a soup can.

Haven't heard of the drain in the bottom can yet.

Just seen this post...I think the 233 is for the 4six. Yea that's one of those knockoff valves. Those valves are sold many third party suppliers, same valve, they just put their brand on it and sell it as theirs lol.

EDIT: Your picture didn't re-post. The post I quoted was from your PCV picture post.
