What do the lightning blowers top out at boost wise? Around 14ish? I read about a lot of those guys switching over to Whipple blowers, what the advantages to that? Just more boost? I have also see a few with prochragers

It's not a boost issue but more or less a heat issue. It can only flow so much air before it can be run any harder. A Whipple moves a lot more air so it's more effiecent. So it can make more boost with less heat. Proc harder is a different thing. It ramps up boost as it spins faster.

That makes more sense now. Whipples and Eatons are twin screw units right? Then what's the difference between that and roots blowers? I know procharger makes some pretty big units and are more or less a belt driven turbo. Sorry for the beginners questions lol

All I know is now that I have no girlfriend, I can desert funds to support my projects. First is to finish the interior. Next major one will be SAS. After that it's motor time. My little piece swap setup is OK now but with 1 tons and and bigger tires it may be a little scary.

I've realized that I'm not the type of guy who needs a girlfriend. I need a girl who is into cars/truck.
