yeah, me too. The old app doesn't work on my phone at all anymore. Unless they're going to repair it, it should be deleted.

On to other news. This weekend coming up @CarcrazyGTS2 will be pulling the ultimate friend card and driving 4 hours up to give me a hand installing diff gears front and rear in the beast. I can't wait to feel the difference from the old 3.55s to the new 4.56's. I will be posting a write up as thorough and complete as possible for all that are interested. Parts alone (gears, master install kits, Detroit tru trac)cost me a little over $1300 and I'd be another grand into it if I had to pay a shop for labor. This will be a low buck shade tree that anyone can perform with a few specialty tools.

Can't tell y'all how nice it's been to make good friends on this forum.

The heads are boxed up and being shipped out tonight or tomorrow to Total Engine Airflow. Stage 2 port and full assembly. ETA is 2-3 weeks turn around,so the ol truck is probably getting taken to the shop next week and dropped off for the gears and staying put until the heads arrive. I still don't have the slightest idea who is doing my exhaust.

Good deal. Just know that the head work will be negligible for power gains unless you get boost. How much are you paying for gears? parts/labor. You already have headers right? Find Find a reputable shop and have full custom pipes ran.

With the right cams port work does wonders. My custom SHM cams came alive with port work. Especially with Longtubes.

I don't remember what I paid for the gears,I know I have around 1k between the gears and the install kits. Labor is $675 for both axles. I've got headers and a muffler already, cutting the cats and running all 3" pipe. I think I'm running the muffler and dumping right after the bed and cab meet, thats where it used to be and that's where it sounded best. If I don't like it I can change it.

Looking at trickflows, which set do I need the 38 or 44cc? The guy I talked to before said that one of them would raise my compression to 11:1,I just don't remember which one. Trying to keep the compression on the low side

You'll want the 44cc for lower compression. 38cc is a tighter combustion chamber and raises the compression ratio.

Nice work myfx4, can't wait to see the startup vid!
