I have a nasty squeak, you'd think by looking at the picture you'd thought this was the culprit..nope. I know it's not the belt but it's hard to pinpoint the right bearing. It's not the belt, it's a bearing squeak not a squeal. I may change the little idler next. So at least she got a new part? Yes charliedyal it's Motorcraft

Man ibd2328, that's coming along nicely. I think you've found an equitable hobby.

fordmotorsport my 98 gtp gas saver has developed an intermittent squeak. I'm gonna go ahead and do the tensioner, belts, water pump & both idlers while I'm in there. Plus have to do the SC coupler & oil. At 155k might as well. Need this thing to last for at least another year or more.

good call. The fan wiggles just a little, so I'm hoping it's not the pump but I'll check it tomorrow. I never did replace the wp. If that's the problem..it looks like a pita.

It really doesn't get any cheaper than that. I believe ford racing sells universal harnesses now for swaps Haha...seriously though. 5.0 swap, powerstroke, lightning swap, mustang, or LS trucks? We need to know this info

Coyote + Mustang + IRS= Lots of fun. The trucks are just kinda blah now.
