Right! seen to many bad paint jobs lol. Doing that correctly, the preparation is most important and time consuming as hell. Most, with a good eye, don't have that sort of time it takes to be competitive in the business. That's extremly important is the restoration field. Shooting it, - yes there's a knack. But allot of it is just experience. Knowing people that have these items is a huge short-cut for those learning. Hell, I had a personal trainer on the net lol, - just worked out that way. Lucky! The shops been set up for it for awhile now, - well the best it can be. - I should say it's outfitted now....Don't have tuh cut corners .
After replacing the bed I didn't care a bit about my paint,it used to be hand washed 2-3 times a week sometimes more so now that I don't care about it,its covered in scratches. I got quoted $3500 to paint it,that's insane for a back to factory color paint job.

Dang, that's allot of palm sanders going at once. That may generate too much heat. I mean, instead of the smooth as babys bottom affect I looking for, it could look like miss's heftys after sleeping in bed of ball peen hammers all night.
