Well I just left the machine shop and I'm sitting at about $4500 in the bottom end now lol

This will be a complete short block, and he said this setup has held 600hp for him in pull trucks

That's a lot of cash for the bottom end of a 600hp build. What rods did you go with? 460 right?

that's what I'm saying...that's a lot of money for only 600 ponies. Could get a 1500hp 5.4 short block for less than that!

Idk yet he's putting together some options for me to decide what all I want/can afford. It's a 429 but they're the same block
