Depends on what you go with man. I went expensive on some stuff,like arp studs,arp cam tower bolts,trick flow adjusters,comp cams etc. Some of the stuff if you go oem you'll pay half price for.

Head bolts, gaskets, timing equipment while you're there. Plugs, manifold bolts,
You are pulling the heads. There is A LOT going on

Give you an idea, here's what one guy is asking for just heads

Ahh.. Any recommendations on where to get stuff the cheapest? I don't want to get all OEM so probably arp head studs and anything else you guys recommend getting and stuff like that etc

Shop each part. I don't think I bought more than 2 parts from the same website lol.

Arp is the last you need lol. The cost difference between arp studs and factory tty bolts would get you much needed Timing components
Heads bolts-$35 vs studs $250

Alright well in that case I didn't know they were THAT expensive lol. What all is needed with timing?

Depends, tensioners, chains, a few others. How many miles?

About 183k or so. But not making any funny noises either.

My personal opinion is get a junkyard motor with pi heads on it for about $200. Completely rebuild and beef it up and when you're done with it swap it in. Hopefully your engine has enough life left to last until the build is finished
