Cr was meant to be 16.0:1 with flat tops. He runs 116 fuel, oxygenated.

Block was all aluminum. His estimated loss was around 22-25k for the entire thing.

Crank was around 2500 itself. Had JE pistons and billet rods.

Ouch. 16:1 just sounds like danger

I'd hold out and wait for a more complete package, hell look what jferg got for 650. Granted if it was shipped properly but still..the deals are out there just gotta be patient. Took me a year to round up my complete setup. But yes definitely wait for a 01-04, more of a peace of mind thing!

Yeah, think I will. No sense in cheaping out on this. Would love to get ahold of a wrecked L and have all the necessary parts but that's not likely. Thankfully, Jferg forwarded me a parts list originally from 4x4dave so I have a good idea of what's involved. You guys will be a great asset when I do finally start on it.

I though I got a steal (which I did) but there is so much more to the swap than I thought. I got all this from an 01 60,000 Lightning.
Lower intake, midplate, 42 injectors, intercooler, m112, plenum, accufab tb, throttle bracket, fuel rail, 4 COP's, thermostat gasket, upper rad. hose, pulley bridge and tensioner, all bolts except blower bolts, boost bypass, egr, iat
I'm sure there's more that I am forgetting but I got it all for $600. And fingers crossed, they will be getting paid for this week.

$300 may not sound bad at the time for a 112 and upper intake but better deals, with more parts are out there

What was that lightning motor you guys said to get? I think it was $4400 and built to take 18 pounds
