Um, upgraded internals yields zero power difference. By "built" we imagine upgraded valvetrain components, better valves/guides/seals, port work and some cam to compliment the porting.
Also, if your heads have truly brand-new motorcraft last adjusters, I see no reason to swap them for trickflows. Depending on what cams you got, you may look into port work to make the cams work to the best of their ability

Don't want to thread jack but where is everyone on their builds?

IBD is nearing completion and is most likely doing minor changes and tune work?

jferg is collecting lightning parts and getting ready for the swap??

myfx4 is still waiting to install the 4v??

fordmotorsport is still toying with a powerstroke?

charliedyal is building an engine too???

I'm missing other people in here too, but an executive overview would be nice haha.

I'm still collecting parts for the L swap. Built my motor 2 years ago. Working on getting the ring & pinions completed in the next month or so. Hoping I can coax Carcrazygts2 into coming up & giving me a hand.

I need throttle/cc cables and the array of Gauges. And time to put it together

Theoretically, I could bolt everything on and make it run today

What's stopping you? I just took off like 3 days vacation from work to focus on getting everything bolted up and made a dyno appt in the same time frame. Truck was only down for 2-3 days, and was good enough to daily afterwards.

I also mounted up the intercooler and did the gauges before the swap so it's less stuff to do later. It minimized the downtime.

I'll see if i can find a throttle cable for you.

I didn't know if upgraded internals will make it run smoother, remember I don't know **** about the internals of a motor lol. And by built I meant fully put together
