Ok guys i have a situation...
As you all may know, i have been running lean on bank 1 since my headgasket replacement back in Sept 2012. Over two years now. P0171 code and thats it. Trucks ran fine for those 2 years with no issues and could never find the cause of the problem.
Fast forward to a few days ago. Start the truck and it idles fine. Start driving it and it stutters under load (half throttle going 45mph or so). It shakes really really bad and has no power. If i press harder into the pedal it will downshift and not shake as bad and continue at speed. It feels like a bad COP but the problem is im not throwing a SINGLE code. Not even my p0171 code that ive had for 2 years. Its been two days and no codes with multiple start ups. How can i trace this demon without a single code and only going off the history or my vehicle? Pulled these codes right before i cleared them.
Might start a new thread with this info and see if i can get some more answers but thought id ask here first.

I've never seen a bad cop throw a code at all.
Pull them all and clean them. That's what I had to do after my incident with the dealer powewashing my engine bay. If you need a cop, let me know, I've got a few oem spares from the Lightning intake

Doing a little research for the fishing trip. A Florida non-resident sal****er 3 day license will cost $17. Same price for a resident but resident's is anual. Although you can forego the licence if on a charter boat. We can do either really. I have access to a friends 21' v-hull pontoon that has lots of deck space perfect for the grassy flats. And one of my Georgia buddies is bringing a 19' deep hull to store at my house that i can use anytime. a charter will run between 3-500 depending on how many people and hours.

I had 1 bad coil and two shot boots I replaced two weeks ago. If it is still cold when you do it, put a heat lamp or work light over the engine bay for an hr or so before you start. Just depressing the connectors for an injector and the clip broke in my hand it was so cold and brittle
