What are the benefits of a 4V swap? And what all is involved? Just wondering I haven't looked into them much.

Have you been following MyFX4Project ? Ideally only 40hp when stock but the logic of swapping a motor most people would upgrade yielding more power, cams, ported heads, etc. You may lose some bottom end tq from the 2v..depending in how its built.

I haven't seen it up in the feed for a while so I'm behind lol I knew he was building one but wasn't sure of the benefits of it. I think when my 5.4 goes I want to try a 5.0 coyote.

I thought about that too but coyote 5.0's are pricey still. Would be a sweet setup though.

Would it be possible to get a 5.0 coyote and have it bored to a 5.4? That would be pretty cool. Then your truck would still be a 5.4, just more modern and more efficient, with more power.

I'm sure one could do that but I'm just interested in a drop in crate motor. Maybe long tubes and camming it

I want to get cams for my truck. I want it to have a good rumble to it. But not so aggressive that it be like a hot rod where you can hear when every individual cylinder fires a puff of exhaust. Just like a mildly aggressive rumble
