I see what your saying [MENTION=76842]Carcrazygts2[/MENTION]. The travel arc of the bars mounted to the frame would interfere with the linear up and down travel of the leaf springs. Where as the suggested type of traction bars would prevent axle wrap but maintain the original spring articulation. I'd need to build some long shackles due to the 6" lift. But I could probably make it work. Need to think about how to attach the horizontal square tubing to the axle. Thanks for the idea man.

The biggest thing that needs to stay constant is the intersection point between the lower arm. It must extend to the the same point as the leaf spring itself to prevent binding. So when at ride height the shackle is perpendicular to the ground. The driver side is the hardest because of the gas tank. But this give you a general idea of what needs to be built.
