Talked myself out of the plx setup. Too much to spend and still have to purchase a fuel pressure gauge on top of it. Think I'll keep it simple and run an aem wideband and a glow shift fuel pressure along with my autometer boost gauge. Too many options out there for gauges and I'm terrible at impulse spending. LOL.

I did aquire an alternator and upper radiator hose for the cheap though.

Fuel pressure and boost are two things I'm glad I went mechanical. Especially with a swap to get true numbers. Not saying it wouldn't work but it isn't like we swap the entire lightning PCM, wiring, etc so that's why I stuck with those two and a wide band. I think I had like $400 with my triple pillar and three gauges with the braided line to the fuel gauge. But it was peace of mind for me.

Trucks running great bobkyle2! That's one mean mudder! Pun intended. LOL

And thanks fordmotorsport for the advice. I was a little wary of running a mechanical fuel gauge in fear of a leak. Do you happen to know what size the threads are on the fuel rail? Schroder valve would be the best port to attach to right?

Edit: never mind, hose is -4an & fitting is 1/8 npt. Kit comes with adapter. I should really research more before asking dumb questions.

No problem, I know its illegal to run them inside the vehicle but I have done it multiple times..teflon tape and double check fittings. I've never had one leak. I would put it on the outside but then jealous people or thieves are a problem.

Thanks! We are pretty much done with trying to make it faster this year. Thinking hard about turning it back into a bog truck. The guys in our class have wicked money. And or daddy footing the bills lol.

Jbrew do you still have the link for the fuel injector power limits and rebuild guide? Mind posting it one more time?

So I'm thinking on getting a bigger trans cooler for my truck since even with the stock one I'm getting up over 200° daily now with that should I mount it behind the grill or in the hole in the valence and how big of one should I get and any brands to avoid

That is really hot. I never let mine get above 190. I believe mercon v literally goes bad and looses its lubrication properties if it gets much hotter. I run the heater if temps get near 190 worse case lol.
