Talked myself out of the plx setup. Too much to spend and still have to purchase a fuel pressure gauge on top of it. Think I'll keep it simple and run an aem wideband and a glow shift fuel pressure along with my autometer boost gauge. Too many options out there for gauges and I'm terrible at impulse spending. LOL.
I did aquire an alternator and upper radiator hose for the cheap though.

Trucks running great bobkyle2! That's one mean mudder! Pun intended. LOL
And thanks fordmotorsport for the advice. I was a little wary of running a mechanical fuel gauge in fear of a leak. Do you happen to know what size the threads are on the fuel rail? Schroder valve would be the best port to attach to right?
Edit: never mind, hose is -4an & fitting is 1/8 npt. Kit comes with adapter. I should really research more before asking dumb questions.

That is really hot. I never let mine get above 190. I believe mercon v literally goes bad and looses its lubrication properties if it gets much hotter. I run the heater if temps get near 190 worse case lol.
