Any ideas?
Not sure where u can find those now. You can buy a lightning water pump instead, it has a longer snout.

What's a long block? Answer: its a short block with heads on it. Do you know how to use a torque wrench jackedup? Not being an ***, but installing heads on an engine that's out of the truck is a piece of cake. Just need new bolts/studs and the gaskets. I'm more concerned about work that other people do than my own. Least I know its done right. You'll be fine man.

Thanks for the answer. One more item on my list. Did you get your horn straightened out?

He said putting heads from a different motor on it could cause issues.

All PI heads are identical, minus the cam towers.

5.4's and 4.6's are same dimensions and cc's. Same bolt pattern, valvetrain, etc.
Any will bolt up and work.

I would think the guy got the proper dish on those pistons for PI heads. So if you run, say 52cc heads, your static CR is gonna be miserable.

Not gonna matter. PI heads on a lightning bottom end right? Will bolt right up.
