Drivers Side Door Won't Open...99'
Good Afternoon Everyone!
Well, I'm a Newcomer to the site, but not to ford trucks! I would love some help on my 99 F-150.
Just yesterday, the Drivers Side Rear door is stuck, it seems the top latch won't open, and let the door release.
Anyone have this issue....suggestions on a repair?

Sorry, I can't help any with this issue, my 96 Xcab doesn't have doors to the rear portion. I am sure someone here will be able to help you, just give them a chance to find your post!

Well Good News!
Once I was able to pull the door apart, I noticed the top latch was not opening all the way. What happend was, over time & Florida heat, the small plastic (yellow) cable holder just broke apart. There wasn't enough tension in the cable to fully open the top latch.
I ended up using a cable tensioner from one of my kids bikes at the top latch, and it works perfect. Had to play with the tension a a bit to get it right, but it works great!
