Default 3" body lift question

First time doing this, maybe you guys cab help. I purchased a 3"body lift to install on my super crew. I looked over the instructions. And you have to remove the radiator, throttle cover, along with a few other parts underneath the hood. Is it really necessary to remove all these components to install a body kit.??
Any help is appreciated.

I can't speak for these trucks, but me and a buddy did the one on my Ranger. Had to undo the main chassis ground wire, the fan shroud that attaches to the radiator, and a few other random odds and ends. Basically, look under the hood at these parts, look at their connections and whether or not they have the slack/flexibility to be moved 3 inches, and if not, chances are they need to be relocated or lengthened. From my experience, the body lift directions are pretty accurate and should be followed.
