Angry Dr front tire has resistance

When I jack the front of my truck up and try and spin my drivers front tire it'll kinda come to a stop, or point of resistance, and hope upwards a little bit, then it'll turn all the way until you get to that point again.

Is this something normal?

Remove the brake pads, then try it again. If it still does that, it's the bearing. Some resistance is normal. At times you may need to reset re-grease the caliper pins.

While it's jacked up, use your leg under the wheel to apply upward pressure, - sort of take the weight off it. At the same time, wrap your arms around the wheel and test for bearing wobble or play.

I'm going to try that, but in my defense I just replaced that 6 months ago

Yea my drivers side does that a little bit. It's the brake system. Not bad enough to cause concern, I keep the brakes serviced pins and rotors, also flush the system. There's no more wear on the drivers side vs the passenger side. So yea, in my case anyway, not enough to make a difference. No pull, alignment sticks....

Install a Brake Drag Reduction Spring/clip.

On 2wd Abs that don't use hub assembly the wheel bearing should be repacked after few years. It should have no noticeable free play. It bearing is installed and adjusted properly the wheel should turn like a bearing not like a roullete.

That's different, yea, that's warped rotors.

I thought that too. So I replaced the rotors. I can still feel the hop when I brake.

The junk parts for this brakes system are, - rotors, brake lines. Guess they would tied for the #1 all time bad lol. Brake lines can cause it to pulse like that as well. Instead of keeping constant fluid piston pressure, the rubber lines blow up and expand just like a balloon. Creates that pocket, over and over again.

Could be the pads, now, because of the way it was braking in the past. If you hadn't replaced them at the same time as the rotors.

The design of the system is alright, no problem there, - it's just that the hardware is insufficient for a truck....weak and easily compromised.

Well the weird thing is does it with no brake hardware on it at all. Like the axle is engaged.
