Alright. There is supposed to be a poly bushing around your strike bolt, your latch isnt worn out. Its like $4 for a set of bushings from orielly's. I just fixed mine. It bothered me to. It takes a hex bit to get it out. I unscrewed it, slipped it on, and put back on. I even placed it a little higher than before to make my body lines match up perfect. Just play with it a bit to adjust it.
