unhooked maf
hey guys hoping you could help me out. my truck has been idling rough and misses during hard acceleration and while trying to hold at highway speeds. i checked other posts on here and there was alot of talk about the maf. i tried unhooking mine and the truck runs great except for a slightly rough idle and that annoying check engine light on all the time but the truck has more power now than it has in years. will i hurt anything if i keep the maf unhooked for an extended period of time or should i go out and get a new maf a s a p? any help on this would be greatly appriciated

you should order a new maf. its running good because you are eliminating it. the only problem is you are probably running very rich so your just going to pay for it at the pump. I would get a new maf sensor and be done with it
